Surgical Chisel

I was asked by a surgeon to help him design and prototype a tool he had thought of. This angled chisel is meant to make a specific step in a knee replacement procedure quicker and safer. The first (left) and final (right) prototypes are shown.

Material Science Competition

In a material science course we were challenged to created a stool with the highest possible strength to weight ratio. Every model was tested and my team placed first. As a trophy we got a miniature version of our design in metal.

Mousetrap Car

This is a vehicle I designed with my mechanical engineering team. It is powered by a mousetrap and we raced it to see how slowly it could travel 10m.
